  NIOThe new luxury six-seater SUV for the European market, the NIO EL8, has been launched. The smart, safe and more sustainable EL8 will be available for the first time in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden, and in Norway, paving the way for the brand to enter Europe.

  The EL8 measures 5,099mm in length, 1,750mm in height, 2,199mm in width and has a wheelbase of up to 3,070mm, providing a spacious and comfortable travel space for six people. The Executive Console model is equipped with a smart fridge and console, located between the 12-way Ottoman reclining seats in the second row.   The EL8’s intelligent, reliable all-wheel drive system features a 180 kW SiC permanent magnet motor and a 300 kW induction motor, and is equipped with the world’s first dual three-phase topology inverter for improved peak performance and reliability. With 850 Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h acceleration takes just 4.1 seconds. Its long-range (100 kWh) replaceable battery enables a 510 km WLTP range. A standard-range 75 kWh battery is also available.In the German market, the 75 kWh version of the EL8 is priced at 94,900 euros (about 737,000 yuan), while the 100 kWh version is priced at 103,900 euros (about 806,800 yuan).

The Executive class model adds a hot stone massage function to the front two rows of seats for soothing and rejuvenating. Electric leg support for passengers and 6-inch shoulder adjustment for the driver ensure everyone feels comfortable, no matter how far you drive. With a distance of 1 meter from the seat cushion to the roof and a width of over 1.5 meters, the EL8 offers the best interior space in its class. Luggage capacity is also adequate for the most active families. The third row of seats can be electrically lowered at the push of a button, providing ample luggage space of 810 litres.
